Case Study
The Challenge
To translate over 900 years of Baden family history into a contemporary, competitive wine identity. The goal was to turn a vast archive of paintings, portraits and architecture into a modern visual universe that preserved nobility and heritage, while also extending into a clear and engaging digital experience.
The Solution
In collaboration with Ruska Martin Associates, we created a visual language that merges tradition with modernity. The labels use historical collages, reinterpreted patterns and archive-inspired details, while the premium line employs gold foil and tactile finishes. The website acts as a narrative timeline, connecting each wine to a chapter of the family’s story.
Client Reception
The client was highly satisfied, noting that the rebrand strengthened the present identity while creating a strong foundation for future growth.
What Could Be Improved
Future refinements may include more interactive digital storytelling, a modular packaging system for special editions, and international perception testing to optimise communication across markets.
